Gaining Weight on the Honeymoon: Not an Option

I've been working so hard to get wedding fit...the last thing I want is to come back from our honeymoon, step on the scale, and cry!

Don't get me wrong: our honeymoon will be relaxing, decadent, and all that fun stuff, but I don't want to be lazy. To make sure we don't just lay around on our honeymoon, we're staying at Sandals La Toc in Saint Lucia, which offers water sports, golf, and many other get-moving activities.

To make extra sure that Brian and I keep moving, we're adding some excursions to our already fabulous trip!

Climbing the Pitons
Brian and I will hike up the misty, jungle-covered, boulder-strewn mountainsides. The huge views from the top are supposedly an experience well worth the hike. After wards, we'll head to a rest stop for a sumptuous lunch and refreshing swim. This all-day trip will allow Brian and I to step outside of the unlimited all you can eat/drink atmosphere.

Waterfall Cycling Adventure
I'm excited for my cycle classes to pay off with this one! First, Brian and I will bike ride through the rainforest to Errard Waterfall where we will take a dip in its refreshing waters. Then, we'll cycle through the forest where we'll learn about local crops grown on the island. They had me at "waterfall." After this excursion, Brian and I won't feel bad about ordering dessert.
So excited for these heart-pumping activities! It will make laying on the beach that much more relaxing...I can't wait!
