How to make Amla Hair Oil at home?

You will need:

2 cups of Coconut oil/ Almond oil/ Olive oil

 

3 fresh organic Amlas

 

Dry curry leaves (optional)

 

Rosemary essential oil (optional)

How to make:


Take 3 fresh organic amlas and wash them thoroughly to remove any dirt.

 

First, chop amlas into small cubes.

 

You can either use cubes or you can blend the cubes in a blender to make an amla paste.

 

Heat 2 cups of Coconut oil or olive oil in a pan on a medium flame. Add the amla cubes or amla paste to the oil.

 

Add a handful of curry leaves to the oil.

 

Slow cook the amla, curry leaves in the oil for 5 minutes, and turn off the flame.

 

You will notice the oil has slightly turned yellowish golden green in color.

 

Strain the oil and add a few drops of rosemary essential oil.

 

Store the amla hair oil in an airtight glass jar for up to 1-2 months.

 

How to use Amla oil for Hair Growth

Take the required amount of amla oil in a small pan and warm a little.

Massage this amazing oil on your scalp. Also, apply it to your hair shafts. Wash your hair with a mild (sulfate-free) shampoo after 1-2 hours.
