Britney, 40, shared two photos of herself wearing nothing but thigh-high stockings and a choker, with flower and heart emojis covering up certain areas. Why? Because she can. “Free woman energy has never felt better 🎀,” Britney wrote in the caption. Yesss!

"I want you to understand my thoughts on exposing my skin !!!! In my opinion it’s quite twisted the immediate response of when any woman is hot and they want to shed a layer … no … I’m not talking in a strip club or a performance … just on a practical scale of being in your car and realizing you’re wearing a stupid long sleeve shirt in the summer !!!!" she said. "The immediate reaction to any woman who does this after shedding a layer is DAMN I FEEL BETTER … therefore you think you look better !!!"
That’s not all she’s done to celebrate her freedom lately. Britney shared yesterday that she had her first glass of wine in 13 years.
“I’m sure it looks weird me dancing to @madonna so much 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️… I see it … it’s like I’m not trying as much like I’m INDULGING 😂 ….. well thats exactly what her music does to me 🤪 !!!” she wrote in the caption. “I mean I had my first glass of red wine 🍷 last weekend !!! I’ve waited 13 years … that’s long enough !!!”
Britney also revealed that she’s unapologetic about looking out for No.1 right now—and she’s not impressed with people who are trying to hate on her doing her own thing.
“In a world where we all have the right to speak … drive … buy alcohol … party … have cash … I apologize for INDULGING in front of the masses … and dancing a touch slower !!!” she said. “I mean what was I thinking 😂?? Nobody’s perfect !!! Pss… Yes I read the comments and people are absolutely hateful 😒.”
People cheered her on in the comments. “Hey, we love you. Drink your wine, dance to music, indulge and live. You deserve that and more,” one person wrote. “Read this: Britney, we love you! Keep on dancing 🩰💖,” another said.
Dancing and posing nude isn't all she's doing these days. Britney also shared on Instagram yesterday that she went out to dinner, which was her first time venturing out “in a while,” and you can just feel the excitement oozing out of her post.
“It was absolutely beautiful,” she wrote. “I looked up and it was a glass room, I could see stars.” Britney also wrote that she didn’t want to get “too excited” but she was pretty stoked about the bathroom situation.
“It was so beautiful and the lady in there offered me candy!!!” she said. “It was so girly and they played music in there…I loved it!!!” Britney said that the food was amazing, too, going into serious detail while describing how delicious her salad and sushi was. “Is this what I’ve been missing??? …It made me want to cry, so I did!!! I cried over food in this beautiful restaurant.”
Overall, she said, “it was one of the most magical experiences of my life and I will never forget it.”
